Here at GXO, we are looking for a talented individual to take the role of Control Room Manager and that could be you! As Control Room Manager, you will play an integral role in managing and supporting the control room team of Wave Planners and SCADA colleagues. This will ensure that all automation within the ASOS operation runs smoothly.

If successful, you will be predominantly working any 5 out of 7 afternoon shift, though some flexibility may be required.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £37,493 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Supervise the completion of accident packs and investigations
  • Ensure that all safety measures are carried out, this includes risk assessments and observations
  • Support and guide your team
  • Prioritise area workloads

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Knowledge of automated warehouse work practices
  • Solid management experience, ideally within an e-commerce or automation environment
  • Helpdesk or Control Room exposure
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour
