Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

Overview: 

Guidepoint’s Finance team not only makes sure the bills get paid on time, but provides the company with innovative solutions to optimizing and growing our collective ROI. The team manages and organizes financial planning, forecasting, spending, and accounting information to ensure Guidepoint operates smoothly. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Manage shared inbox with high level of incoming invoices submitted through various channels 
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and authorization 
  • Review invoices for discrepancies and resolve any billing issues with vendors 
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances or discrepancies 
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers 
  • Monitor bank account balances and request funding as needed 
  • Maintain schedules of rent payments and other payables, including client refunds and employee donation matches 
  • Maintain corporate credit card program, code employee credit card spending and book in ERP system 
  • Monitor employee credit card usage and enforce corporate expense policies 
  • Process quarterly tax payments 
  • Prepare and analyze A/P Aging reports 
  • Prepare and create journal entries as needed 
  • Assist with audit requests, such as preparing supporting documentation and schedules 
  • Validate and process employee expense reports through expense management platform 
  • Enforce global expense policy across multiple offices and foreign entities

What You Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with accounting background
  • 3-5 years of related work experience, accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred
  • Must take initiative and be highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work, consistently meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word 

What We Offer: 

The annual base salary for this position is $68,000 - $73,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
