Our approach to R&D .

In this role you will...
  • Be the scientific expert, maintaining a detailed understanding of the therapy area and a deep appreciation of the science and evidence for GSK medicines, and other non-GSK treatment options in the therapy area
  • Provide scientifically accurate, balanced and up-to-date training to the LOC commercial organisation
  • Build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with external experts and health care professionals both to to address their information needs, lead insight seeking activities and to develop collaborative projects
  • Act as the interface between the professional healthcare community and the internal GSK team and its affiliates bringing local insights and feedback from the community to improve medical, commercial and drug development understanding and planning
  • Execute Medical Affairs operational plan to achieve goals in line with Business plan
  • Chair, facilitate and present as an internal expert in meetings/seminars
  • Fully understand and comply with local codes of practice, guidelines and laws to ensure the strictest requirements are met, particularly with respect to delivery of promotional versus non-promotional information
  • Disseminate important safety information to the healthcare professional as directed by the Medical Affairs or Research and Development teams or the Dear Healthcare Provider Letter (DHPL) process
  • Providing scientific expertise into processes such as reimbursement submission activities and clinical trial execution
Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Higher degree in Life Sciences: PhD in relevant subject, MD, MPharm, PharmD and/or other professional healthcare provision qualification with experience (e.g. physician, surgeon or pharmacist)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within Medical Affairs specialising Oncology and/or Hematology
Preferred:
  • Fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
  • Proficient in English writing
  • Proven track record in establishing external network
