Hiring Pay Scale: Min. $100K - Max. $137K

Summary: This position exists to manage, oversee, provide direction and guidance to Shipping, Receiving, Staging, Inventory, and Logistics. The position is also responsible for overseeing the inventory accuracy process, cycle counting responsibilities, and managing warehouse projects

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for management and oversight of both warehouses (Raw Material and Finished Goods) operations including Receiving, Staging, Shipping, and Inventory.

Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency - with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organizing, monitoring, and managing operational goals

Manages the Material Handling in the warehouse.

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of all items.

Responsible for the physical warehouse and physical inventory.

Oversight of FEFO (First Expired, First Out), shipment of orders, and raw material consumption.

Responsible for interfacing with the current third-party logistics provider(s) and carriers as required.

Acts as Project Manager for warehouse projects, such as racking.

Communications as needed to the appropriate department(s) regarding:

Daily warehouse KPI's - Receiving, Shipping, Staging, and Inventory -
Rework - Orders placedn-- Late orders and reasons -Shipping errors -Weekly payroll

▪Ensure training schedules are adhered to, and the Warehouse staff is appropriately and compliantly trained at all times.

Interact and collaborate with other managers to achieve goals.

Ensure the facility is always tour and audit ready.

Ensure safety, quality, legality, and authenticity of products in accordance with regulations and standards, as this role dictates.

Become certified in HAZMAT shipping and ensure there are an adequate number of employees trained with valid certifications to support the business.

Staff management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff.

Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and investigate incidents.

Responsible for reviewing and approving all Warehouse invoices using our Laserfiche system.

Other areas as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3 years of warehouse experience, or
Associate degree with 5+ years of warehouse experience.

Experience working in the Food & Beverage industry a plus

Ability to lead a team, with team supervisory experience required

Ability to comprehend instructions and instruct others as needed. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate with individuals and small groups. Ability to read, write and speak English.

Familiarity with budgeting.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral or written instructions. Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Knowledgeable in ERP computer systems such as DAX365.

Knowledgeable in Redzone and Origami programs
• Ability to successfully complete the Griffith Foods Forklift Certification Program.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to: sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell as well as work on a platform and climb up and down stairs. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of the supervisor position, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
