The rapid growth of our technology-enabled agency business has put us in an exciting position to make our core SaaS platform which has been foundational to our agency's success available to new customers. As a result, we are eagerly searching for our first Account Executive to fuel this exciting new market opportunity.

In this crucial role, you'll be the driving force behind selling Graphite's SEO Platform to our target markets. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your sales expertise and your startup mentality as you work with senior leadership to design and build our go-to-market sales strategy, including developing an effective sales narrative, testing pricing scenarios, and building a repeatable and scalable sales process which will ultimately provide a foundation for the future of the business.

Graphite is a fully distributed company with team members located across North America, Latin America, and Europe. This is a remote opportunity, with up to 50% of travel.

What you'll do:

Sales Strategy and Process

  • Develop a sales operating system that brings repeatability, predictability, and scale to the business over time. Run sales with rigor and discipline.
  • Design a value-based sales narrative and process that differentiates us in the market and begins serving our customers as the first point of contact with them.
  • Establish the key stage definitions in the sales process to integrate into SalesForce (CRM).
  • Develop a forecasting process that brings predictability and visibility to the business.

Rapid Experimentation:

  • Rapidly test and iterate against all facets of the process and strategy to demonstrably improve the business MoM.
  • Gather actionable insights from customer interactions in order to define our best-fit customer and facilitate great decisions related to our product development and marketing strategies

Prospecting:

  • Prioritizing inbound leads and developing a programmatic approach to researching high-priority prospects.
  • Applying effective business development strategies and techniques

Communication and Presentation Skills:

● The confidence and communication style to influence all levels of the organization, internally and externally, including executive and C-level interactions.

● The ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple, clear, and concise way.

Consultative Selling:

● Conducting needs analysis to understand each client's business goals completely

● Positioning relevant product features and tailored solutions to solve business needs

● Strong listening, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

What you'll need:

● 5+ years of successful sales experience with brands, agencies, high-growth startups, and mid-market enterprise companies. (Digital Marketing / SEO experience preferred)

● 2+ years of direct sales management experience (Preferred)

● Demonstrable track record of achievement in new logo sales

● Experience working with Salesforce CRM and a clear understanding of the value of its utilization

SEO Knowledge: (Preferred)

● Understand SEO principles, techniques, and best practices

● Knowledge of keyword research

● Familiarity with on-page and off-page optimization

● Proficiency in link-building and content marketing

● Knowledge of analytics and its application in SEO
