Sr. Manager, FP & A

Remote
The Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team performing financial analysis, reporting into a Director of FP&A. The Sr Manager, FP&A will assist with the preparation of financial models, Board of Directors materials, monthly financial analysis materials, and provide ad hoc analysis for the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Company Gross Margin Planning & Forecasting
  • Strategic partner to the Operations leadership team
  • Providing guidance in cost efficiency improvements - planning & tracking of improvements
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and cash flows
  • Assist in preparing quarterly operations review by partnering with management team
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing models as well as new projects
  • Develop financial models and analyses to assist product development and patient care operations with business decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Closely manage to the hiring plan, including understanding relationships to bookings, quota and commissions
  • Work with sales ops to accurately reflect and update bookings forecast
  • Recommend and develop policies, procedures and systems to meet company objectives
  • Gather insights by benchmarking against industry metrics and keep up to date on competitive landscape
  • Support management team and departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations to board of directors and senior management team
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required

Requirements:

  • At least 8-12 years of experience in finance and accounting with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning, financial analysis, and financial modeling with relevant work experience as an FP&A business partner within a SAAS company
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data and develop strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration and proactive consultation skills
  • Positive can-do attitude in approaching complex problems
  • Ability to influence leadership through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Strong systems and excel skills (Anaplan, Salesforce, Workday or other comparable financial and ERP systems)
  • Master 's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, with focus of activity based costing
