Manager, Revenue

Actively participate in the functions and activities of general accounting, financial reporting, reimbursement, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for all entities within Doctor On Demand.


  • Develop relationships with key internal business partners to determine accounting requirements for new platform and revenue related projects
  • Assist with month-end close procedures around Revenue (including Variable Consideration), Refund Liabilities, and Deferred Revenue
  • Prepare month-end/quarter-end close workpapers across all accounts impacting revenue. Assist in preparation and review of month end revenue reporting.
  • Identify gaps and drive process improvements to continuously streamline and automate the accounting close process to meet reporting deadlines
  • Help manage external audit, including preparation and ongoing support
  • Work closely with the Revenue Accounting Manager and other team members to support key projects and initiatives to improve the speed and quality of month-end close
  • Review and document critical contract elements to ensure alignment with 606 policy

Required Skills/Education

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience with ASC 606
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Solid work ethic and good team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills and has good judgement
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills – must have experience in Microsoft and Google applications
  • Able to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
  • BS/BA in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA license or CPA candidate a plus
  • Mix of private company/Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, Workday Financials, or Looker
  • Experience in Healthcare
