Strategic Partner Manager, Commercial Channel, ChromeOS (English, Norwegian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Business Development and Partner Development as a partner/channel manager.
  • Experience in IT (e.g., Hardware, Saas applications, Device management, Cloud solutions).
  • Ability to communicate in English and Norwegian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the technology sales channel.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to build and execute on strategic plans over multiple quarters.

The Commercial Channels team focuses on promoting ChromeOS powered devices including ChromeOS device management software to both enterprise and education customers across EMEA through partners (e.g., IT resellers, System Integrators, cloud service partners, OEMs and Distributors). Our team is responsible for developing and managing partnerships, including channel strategy, joint GTM plans and executing against those with the aim to grow overall market share for ChromeOS in the Enterprise and Education space. We work in collaboration with Partner Sales Engineering, marketing and direct sales teams.

As a member of the EMEA ChromeOS Channels team, you will work with leading Distribution, Reseller and Device manufacturing partners to inspire businesses to adopt our products and solutions. You will advocate the innovative power of our products and solutions to make organisations more productive, secure, collaborative and mobile and enhance the learning experience at schools. As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will be responsible for executing the strategy in the region, identifying new and developing existing strategic partners, defining joint GTM and business plans and executing against those.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and scale a channel-driven business focussed on ChromeOS in the enterprise and education space.
  • Implement, execute and report on progress of deployment of channel strategy.
  • Collaborate with the wider Channel Team, Partner Marketing, Chrome Enterprise and Google for Education Sales Team as well as Customer Success and Partner engineers team to deliver a One Google approach.
  • Manage day to day support and enquiries from our Channel Partners.
  • Meet with resellers to define and agree joint Go-To-Market strategy and plans.
