In the Energy Markets and Regulatory team, you will work on energy, regulatory, and market development initiatives that ensure Google's data centers in the Asia Pacific region have access to cost-effective power supply options, and advance market solutions to help ensure Google meets its carbon-free energy goals.

In this role, you will support the team's overall energy-related strategy development and execution, contribute to individual strategic initiatives and projects, and work with teams across the company in support of Google's data center energy portfolio.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

    • Track policy and regulatory developments impacting Google's energy and climate agenda in APAC, and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop policy and market positions, engagement strategies and implementing tactics.
    • Engage and coordinate with external parties on joint initiatives for key energy issues.
    • Conduct advocacy work through energy trade associations, industry partners, non-profit groups, and other allies to promote Google's energy priorities.
