The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. We build innovative and compelling software products-from apps to TVs, from laptops to phones-that have an impact on people's lives across the world.
Responsibilities
- Partners with engineering teams in Munich and cross-functional peers to evolve and deliver how users take action on the web .
- Partner with your peers to design solutions for ambiguous problems to improve the client and server backends. Work on parsing logic to understand the structure of web forms, classifications algorithms that generate type predictions from sourced signals, solving internationalization issues for a more inclusive user experience, hardening the product to protect the user and data.
- Design and implement new Autofill features for Chrome on various operating systems, primarily working with C++.
- Enhance form detection and server-side classification algorithms to improve Chrome's ability to accurately detect web form fields and process form data reliably.
- Collaborate on Operating System level integrations and UI enhancements for Chrome Autofill, involving languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Objective-C.
