Software Engineer, Cloud Content Delivery Network

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with data structures/algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages.
  
• 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Networking, Load Balancing, Content Delivery Networks(CDNs).
• Experience in programming with Go, C++, or Java.
• Ability in troubleshooting and debugging across the full frontend serving stack and internet.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for Cloud CDN and solve issues and contribute to projects that mitigate risk, enhance performance, and drive business growth within a large-scale system.
• Enhance safety and minimize the latency of the system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Google and integration with control and data planes.
• Identify and prioritize high-value metrics and enhance visibility into critical system areas, increasing the teams and customers understanding of overall health and performance.
• Participate in defining the future product strategy and technical direction.
