Senior Product Manager, Google Translate

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies.
  • Experience creating product roadmaps, driving the product idea, defining go-to-market strategies, and leading design discussions.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in product management creating innovative Internet or software solutions.
  • Experience inventing innovative and user-friendly products.
  • Knowledge of technical concepts, with the ability to work with engineering teams and map product requirements to technical systems/architecture.
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and handle multiple tasks.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Translate Android mobile app in context of Translate's overall and mobile strategies.
  • Define and build features for users to aid with their journeys across Search and Translate surfaces.
  • Track and measure the impact of product changes on user engagement and satisfaction, work across teams within Google Search to find opportunities to embed Translate within various Search experiences.
  • Create a roadmap to help users discover and try important features so they derive more immediate value from translation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team spanning Engineering, Product Management, and more to define the roadmap and implement the features in a timely manner.
