Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in the networking domain, including physical network devices and overlay virtual networks.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching networking software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience in network design and troubleshooting network deployments.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience in managing Software Engineer teams.
- Experience in working with distributed systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Build network specific expertise in the team and serve as an expert providing consultation to other engineering and support teams working in cloud networking areas.
- Provide technical leadership on key projects helping in onboarding customers.
- Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms such as automation, evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
- Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
