Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in product management, analyst, or other product development roles.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams globally across different timezones.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in a product management or business operations role at a mobile app or game developer.
  • Strong knowledge in product development, mobile app design, mobile business generation (e.g., subscriptions, in app purchases, ads), success KPIs, and CRM/lifecycle management.
  • Experience using SQL to retrieve data from large data warehouses, or excellent technical and analytical abilities with a strong desire to learn SQL.

    The Global Business Consulting (GBC) team is part of Google Play Partnerships. The GBC team identifies growth opportunities in developers' products that drive substantial business impact for our developers through: product improvements, market expansion, business models changes, technical optimizations, and user experience enhancements. Scale focuses on the creation, optimization, and delivery of insights and solutions for managed partners in the Play ecosystem.

    As a Scaled Games Consultant, you will work across Google Play Partnerships, including: GBC Tech and Market, Core Business Development, and Product Go To Market teams. You will quickly learn about developer needs, identify and prioritize opportunities across our GBC team's pillars, and scale common insights into narratives, reports, and educational materials that can be utilized by developers on Google Play.

    In this role, you will leverage the Google Play platform data in conjunction with the GBC team's expertise and consultations to increase the reach and effectiveness of tools, insights, and strategies delivered to managed partners and the Google Play ecosystem. You'll collaborate with cross-functional team members to elevate Google Play Partnerships' consulting proficiency and maximize value for developers to drive sustainable business growth.

    You'll achieve this goal by enabling our team's insights and solutions to scale in an efficient and standardized manner. Additionally, you'll impact the global ecosystem by abstracting solutions into reusable strategies and methodologies, leveraging GBC resources to improve developer sophistication and ecosystem health.

    The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Google Play Partnerships partner managers and GBC team members to build and execute a scaled strategy for Games Consulting .
    • Design, refine, andenable development of growth tools which enhance Google Play Partnerships' datadrivenconsulting capabilities.
    • Support the cross-functional development of new growth tools which facilitate at scale identification of developer opportunities.
    • Develop and deliver training curricula to expand and enhance Google Play Partner Manager consulting proficienciesandcross-team programs efficacy.
    • Partner with Developer Marketing to deliver strategy consulting at ecosystem scale via optimum dissemination channels (e.g., webinars, blogs, Google Play Academy, etc.).
