Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience designing and building refined consumer-facing interfaces.
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Responsibilities
- Grow Mobile (Android/iOS) Development team, set team roadmap, establish Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and coordinate resources with cross-functional partners.
- Mentor and coach team members to help them grow in their career.
- Collaborate effectively with the Books team based in the United States.
- Influence the Books product, drive user engagement, and satisfaction with the apps.
