About ITSM & IT Operations
The ITSM and IT Operations group is building some of the fastest growing products in Atlassian like Jira Service Management (JSM). We also build mobile experiences for these products which are being used by close to 1 million users every month. You will be part of the IT Operations group leading a mobile team which is based in AU region. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders spread across Australia, India & Turkey.
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a technical leader and people manager. You will be responsible for guiding the team to technical decisions, helping prioritise and organise the team's work, and providing career growth and mentorship opportunities to your team. You will manage a group of technical leads and software engineers, and work with your design and product management counterparts to build mobile experiences that unleash the potential of our future customers.

You will report into a Senior Engineering leader.
- Manage a team of technical leads and engineers who build mobile native experiences for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Collaborate in technical/architectural discussions, provide technical direction, and lead decision-making within your team.
- Collaborate with product management, design and senior engineers to help make strategic and tactical decisions around next-generation mobile experiences.
- Lead the delivery of critical projects on the mobile team's roadmap.
- Inspire innovation and operational excellence.
- Bring a product and customer-focused mindset to everything you do.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement into team heath and developer productivity.
- 6+ years of software development management experience, managing team of 10 plus engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a preference for Computer Science degree.
- Significant technical experience building high impact mobile applications.
- Past hands-on development experience in developing mobile apps on Android or iOS platforms.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with product managers and designers to create the course of a product.
- Skilled with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., XP, scrum).
- Ability to drive high technical standards, pushing innovation, quality and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and growing high performing engineering teams.
- Past experience in working with globally distributed teams.
