Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of field sales experience in the technology industry, promoting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
  • 5 years of experience leading a team of managers. Experience with coaching and developing team members.
  • Experience in managing business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations and delivering on long- and short-term results.
Preferred qualifications:

  • Technical depth and experience in cloud computing.

  • Solid C-level engagement and network.
  • Track record of sales success.
  • Ability to quickly understand products and effectively identify how it can provide value to a prospective customer.

As the Director of Geo Enterprise Sales, you will have a highly visible leadership role to scale the Geo Enterprise Business across the globe. You will be responsible for the success and growth of our customer base across our scaled, enterprise, corporate and select business segments, spanning our industries and regions.

In this role, you will lead and drive a sales team that assists our core field sellers in driving Enterprise products and solutions that solve customer issues and drive business growth for Google Cloud. You will help in the understanding of the market, customer approaches, and techniques to effectively coach individual sellers, managers, and managers of managers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $198,000-$285,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for developing, advancing, and closing sales pipelines for Geo Enterprise business growth.
  • Own C-level relationships with our customers. Manage teams that are focused on C-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.
  • Attract, hire, and develop talent to build scale.
  • Create alignment across multiple functions with Marketing, Customer Engineer Managers, and Partners. Align with Geo Developer Product and Engineering teams.
  • Be a key contributor to Geo Enterprise Sales Leadership team and the Specialist Sales Google Cloud Leadership team.
