Customer Engineer, Infrastructure Modernization Specialist, Google Cloud

Experience with operating systems, Linux system administration, or Enterprise applications.

Experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem, RDBMS, and NOSQL databases.

Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) concepts.

Knowledge of virtualization and networking concepts (e.g., Linux, hypervisors, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration, and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks) and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies.

As a Customer Engineer on the Google Cloud Customer Engineering team, you will work with the Sales team to introduce Google Cloud to customers. You will help prospective customers, existing customers, and partners understand Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions, estimations, and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and peers to solve problems with creative solutions.
  
• Manage the Go-To-Market strategy, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  
• Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
  
• Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
  
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
