Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in a consumer electronics technical environment, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Control, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Industry experience in control system design, development, and validation.
  • Knowledge and experience in camera autofocus and optical image stabilization controller design.
  • Expertise in control systems modeling, analysis, and control algorithm development.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the next-gen Auto Focus (AF) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) driver IC architecture design, feature, and algorithm development.
  • Design and implement control algorithms and innovative imaging features for AF and OIS systems.
  • Model, analyze, synthesize, and implement AF and OIS control systems.
  • Lead cross-functional failure analysis and corrective actions for AF and OIS actuators.
  • Create AF and OIS control system tuning strategy, testing, and validation plans.
