Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience addressing cross-functional business issues with data analytics.
- 3 years of experience developing and maintaining SQL scripts, data tables, and dashboards, and working with statistical programming languages.
- Experience presenting investigative insights to stakeholders.
- Experience with controlled experiments, causal studies, statistical data analysis.
- Experience building reports to support sales teams, including reporting within Connect Sales.
- Familiarity with Google Ads Products.
- Ability to build effective presentations and briefing documents to communicate insights and influence decision making, including communicating results to non-technical audience.

In this role, you will provide analysis and insights to guide Google's growth and sustainability strategy for small businesses. You will be an expert on data driving the Tail business, lead cross-functional data science projects to drive product and/or go-to-market plans, and provide thought partnership across the team to solve business issues. You will support small businesses in their advertising goals, and manage impact in ambiguity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$136,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build an understanding of business and customer needs and issues, and scope projects designed to address them.
- Structure and implement analyses, and synthesize the findings leveraging a set of data and tools (e.g., data visualization, dashboard reporting, etc.).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work, align on methodologies/approaches, drive execution, track progress, and assess impact.
- Present key findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization to drive decision making.
- Establish thorough processes for documenting, sourcing, and maintaining work, and ensure that work/outputs are compliant with Google policies.
