Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsible for client trade execution experience by ensuring that cash equity, Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), convertible bond and Contract for Differences (CFD) trades are executed, matched, shaped, and allocated in line with client SLA expectations and ensure timely settlement. Oversee book of clients to monitor, respond, and resolve day-to-day queries and trading issues ensuring favorable client service. Oversee the identification of methods to automate the operational processes and mitigate risk to the best extent possible, reducing the need for manual intervention. Engage with the key stakeholders in Trading & Sales teams along with Engineering teams to assess operational impact of new business initiatives and projects and formalize and execute a business plan for delivery. Responsible for the operational risk management and oversight for the equities sales and trading businesses, while ensuring the integrity of the firm's books and records through the development of workflows, systems, checks and controls from trade capture to settlement. Identify, document, and implement procedural changes within the department to improve processes and control infrastructure and participate in projects driving industry regulatory change. Provide guidance, mentorship and training to junior team members in their role and career development.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Employer will accept bachelor's degree equivalent based on single degree, combination of degrees, or combination of degree(s) and professional work experience, where determined to be equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree by a qualified credential evaluation service. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience with: utilizing effective risk management skills via standard Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to track volumes, workflow, and projects, utilizing pivot tables to manage large datasets, and V-look ups and IF statements to minimize manual processes and efficiently manage risk whilst ensuring market risk is understood by internal stakeholders; identifying and solving complex issues (such as trade failure, booking errors, unbooked trades, trade discrepancies and technology issues) that span multiple products and preparing for upcoming exchange and industry regulatory and infrastructure changes; and identifying opportunities to improve the quality of service delivered to clients and to improve the internal efficiency of the confirmation and settlement process and other Straight Through Processes (STP) initiatives. Prior experience must include four (4) years of experience with: identifying risks inherent in daily business processes and driving initiatives to design controls to mitigate risk while seeking to achieve fully automated workflows; applying equities industry and market knowledge including trade flows between broker dealers, clients, and exchanges; accurately completing trading processing in support of a bank's Equity businesses; and completing post trade processes in support of trades settling globally.
