We sit in the Global Banking & Markets - Public (GBM) where GS clients buy and sell financial products in every asset class and region, raise funding, and manage risk.

We help key stakeholders to understand some of the biggest and most complex clients of the firm. Working closely with sales, trading, strats, and other divisions of the firm, we dig into business opportunities, client strategy and data to help deliver the best of GS to our clients.

This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for business development and our clients. We are looking for individuals with strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as innovative thinkers who thrive in fast-paced environments and with senior exposure.

YOUR IMPACT

Are you interested in working alongside a range of internal senior leaders, helping to understand some of the most important clients of the firm? Helping GS develop long term strategic partnerships with key clients is at the core of what we do, we are looking for someone passionate about developing client relationships, using their strong analytical skills, and driving commercial outcomes to help our growing team.

HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • You will be helping to develop strategic business plans for some of the top clients of GBM Public
  • Analysis of client information to understand recent trends and provide strategic insight on GS' positioning to generate business opportunities.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive business process efficiencies, you will be helping to develop new tools and process to enhance the productivity of the desk.
  • Manage a diverse group of cross-functional senior stakeholders, so strong communication and presentation skills are essential. As is the ability to take onboard feedback and iterate fast.
  • Organize content delivery events for C-Suite executives with the most knowledgeable specialists of the firm.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience running and analyzing data and metrics and comfortable with leveraging data and technology to drive business decisions.
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem solver who is entrepreneurial, resourceful and thrives on feedback and iteration.
