The Fixed Income team manages over $800 billion for institutions, high net worth individuals and mutual fund investors. Our global investment process is coordinated across geographic regions with representation in New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and China. The Multi-Sector team is responsible for Portfolio Management across a wide range of multi-sector strategies within Goldman Sachs Asset Management's Fixed Income group. The team leverages the insights derived from the specialist macro and sector teams to drive asset allocation and performance across multi-sector portfolios. The team has a global presence and is looking to hire in our New York office at the Associate/VP level.

Principal Responsibilities:

Portfolio management of Multi-Sector mutual funds and separately managed accounts, namely core, core plus, and unconstrained fixed income strategies.

Monitor asset allocation relative to goals and constraints; manage appropriate rebalancing and portfolio actions; propose portfolio construction solutions

Laisse with investment professionals across macro and sector specialist teams to source information for and coordinate the implementation of the multi-sector process

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Required: Strong academic track record

3-5 years of experience in fixed income portfolio management / trading/ analysis at an investment management firm

Strong analytical, technical, communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Positive, ambitious personality and deep interest in investing

CFA Preferred

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
