RESPONSIBILITIES
About the role:
Are you someone who lights up a room, thrives in fast-paced environments, and loves bringing people together through meaningful experiences? We're looking for a dynamic and people-driven Tech Experience & Events Specialist to join our team!
In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of our IT learning and engagement efforts, -welcoming new hires, orchestrating unforgettable learning events, running high-energy hackathons, and managing end-to-end logistics for both IT and company-wide events. What you will be doing:
- Onboard with Impact: Be the friendly face and go-to guide for new IT employees, ensuring their onboarding experience is smooth, welcoming, and energizing.
- Event Extraordinaire: Plan, coordinate, and execute IT learning events, and enterprise-wide experiences from start to finish, including venue, agenda, tech, swag, and all the magic in between.
- Hackathon Hero: Lead the charge in organizing our annual IT hackathon - think themes, teams, tech, and trophies.
- Experience Architect: Partner with stakeholders to design engaging, inclusive, and innovative experiences that support learning, collaboration, and connection.
- Logistics Lead: Own the details, such as scheduling, communications coordination, vendor management and post-event follow-up.
- Culture Champion: Bring energy, empathy, and creativity to everything you do. Help shape a culture where people feel excited to learn and grow.
- Team Player: Maintain excellent working relationships with our internal and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and shared success.
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a dream candidate?
- A passion for people, learning, and creating memorable experiences
- Experience in event planning, employee engagement, or learning and development (L&D)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with grace
- A love for tech(or at least a curiosity to learn more about it)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Comfort with ambiguity and a "let's figure it out" mindset
- Agility and flexibility- with a keen eye for data and metrics to ensure we are continuously monitoring and improving
Experience:
- Experience with tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with learning management systems or onboarding tools.
- Background in IT, HR or internal communications.
- SSExcellent training facilitation skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Experience consulting with stakeholders to determine the best instructional solutions and/or strategie
- Experience with training material development support tools such as Adobe
- Captivate, Articulate, Adobe Connect, and basic web programming Pref
- Experience with image editing and screen capture tools such as SnagIt or Photoshop Pref
- Experience with web-based deliverables/eLearning Pref
- Experience managing design and development of rich media content including the uploading and linking of materials Pref
- Experience working with/administrating learning management systems (LMS) Pref
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field Preferred
