RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role:

Are you excited about innovation, entrepreneurship and solving complex business problems? Then we are looking for you!

The future HR interns will have the opportunity to support various HR projects. Below are some examples of functional areas that the summer intern will likely be able to shadow, support, and understand how each functional area plays a critical role in the development, design and implementation of HR strategy and its overall success.

We are looking for students who are ready to take on stimulating projects and gain exposure to a variety of industry initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

What makes You an ideal candidate?

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Assist in the continuous development and improvement of information and processes required to perform quality service delivery
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
• Partner with other HR and GMF teams on special assignments and events
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Previous internships considered a plus.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:

• Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
• Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
• Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
• Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection

Work Experience and Education

• Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA.
• Junior or Senior classification preferred.
