Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
  • Software and technology agreements (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
  • Consulting and professional services agreements
  • Non‑disclosure agreements (NDAs)
  • Amendments, addenda, and related contract documents
• Support attorneys during contract negotiations with supplier counsel
• Explain potential contractual risks with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Artificial Intelligence, International Operations, and Legal department leadership to ensure contracts protect GM Financial and its customers.
• Analyze contract issues, identify risks, and assist in developing practical, business‑oriented solutions.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives supporting contract administration and legal operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Must be able to commit to work 40 hours for 8 consecutive weeks during the summer (First week of June through end of July)
• Must participate in all GMF sponsored events for interns

• Currently enrolled in law school
• Must be in good academic standing
