In this role, the engineer will be part of the Grid Automation Business and work with the Sr Engineering Manager. You will responsible for realization of technical and commercial bids covering Grid Automation's product ranges and solutions, for France Benelux & Sub-Saharan Africa markets.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide sales organization with commercial and technical quotes on opportunities within its scope.
- Analyze customer's technical and commercial specifications, develop a technical solution, define an offer strategy with a delivery model, calculate the costs & analyze the risks of the offered solution, define a legal framework in close collaboration with members of the organization: Commercial, Operational, Application engineers, R&D, legal counsel & tax specialists.
- Support sales teams during the clarification phases and commercial negotiations
- Provide support to the operational teams on the offers made or transferred.
- Guarantee compliance with the processes defined by Grid Solutions "Policy 5.0" and Grid Automation "GE EC GS GA S&T" on opportunities within its scope.
- Participate in the creation and improvement of tendering team tools.
- Maintain your knowledge up to date (technical, commercial, legal, budgetary) for bid preparation within your scope according to the GE EC GS GA S&T guidelines.

- Know how to provide a complete, factual, and summary weekly report to your hierarchy on the progress of your work.
- Know how to alert early and escalate problems encountered.
- Ability to develop, articulate and deploy effective solutions on problem encountered
- Implement instructions from the group and site policies: ethics and compliance, quality, HSE, and Cyber security

Required Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering or relevant department
-Fluency in English and French are mandatory
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in protection & control for HTB/ HTA electrical substations
- Solid technical knowledge of the "Network/Substation" environment: digital control & protection, monitoring, asset management and OT cybersecurity.
-Good knowledge of cost calculation & project budget estimation.
-Strong project risk analysis and management.
-Good knowledge in project planning.
-Ability to define priorities and manage several offers in parallel.
