Job Description Summary

Seeking applications and interest from Talent Acquisition professionals to work and contribute to meeting talent demands of the Grid Solutions and Power conversion businesses of GE Vernova. The role(s) will support the design and delivery of the full spectrum of talent recruitment activities, from market and talent research to sourcing, through interview and offer, and all the operational and administrative works associated with those activities. Build and develop diverse candidate pipelines and work with different stakeholders to understand potential hiring needs within the businesses.

In this role, the Recruiter(s) will be part of Talent acquisition Asia Team and will be responsible for the recruitment process in India with scope to support other countries based on performance and potential.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating, and selecting talent at all levels and support sub-businesses within Grid Solutions and Power conversion. End to end recruiting cycle includes sourcing of applicants, screening resumes, interviewing, assessing candidates to provide qualified candidates to hiring managers, facilitating technical evaluation and converting hires through offer process and negotiations.
  • Research markets and peer organizations to identify candidates and provide positive candidate experience for internal and external candidates.
  • Provide stakeholders with market data and activity information to assess talent pipeline for current and future needs. Advise Hiring Managers and HR on steps of the recruitment and selection process.
  • Ensure utilization of recruitment tools that enables accurate and timely metrics production for recruitment dashboards.
  • Provide regular cadences, reporting, data or trend analysis and metrics for stakeholders to understand progress, challenges and solutions. Use decision-making and solution mindset to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems and arrive at decisions.
  • Ensure GE global recruitment policy is implemented effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. MBA (HR) is a preference.
  • 8-12 years of recruitment experience preferably in Engineering and Technology and/or with manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and executing e2e recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer.
  • Strong practical experience of developing and managing pipelines, talent pools. This includes talent mapping & headhunting skills, passive and niche recruiting.
  • Skilled in using traditional as well as creative candidate sourcing techniques and channels to generate talent pipelines including networking, headhunting, market research and social media.
  • Experience in assessing and qualifying candidates, using behavioural interviewing techniques.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in sourcing engineering function
  • Experience in using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) especially Workday etc.
  • Able to work autonomous handling several complex tasks and recruitment projects at the same time with accountability - consultative and customer focused with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detailed oriented with superior follow-up skills, organized and structured.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a highly demanding matrix environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation ability
