Job Description Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the plant site team and ensures safe and reliable operation of the power plant. This position reports to the North America O&M Service Director.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain care, custody, control and safe operation and maintenance of a 520 MW combined cycle power plant
- Provide strong leadership and coaching for approximately 9 site personnel
- Promote a proactive culture and a safe work environment
- Ensure full regulatory compliance for NERC, environmental, health, and safety requirements
- Effectively manage the plant to optimize key performance indicators, including reliability, output, heat rate, and budgetary performance
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures for plant personnel to operate and maintain the plant in a safe and effective manner
- Prepare detailed annual budget for owner and effectively manage plant expenditures
- Effectively execute and fulfill the O&M contract requirements
- Prepare and submit periodic operational reports and records as required by the O&M contract and the plant owner

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of power plant management experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of power plant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience leading, coaching and building a team to achieve higher levels of performance with a track record of plant continuous improvements
Desired Characteristics
- Experience working with GE 7FA technology
- Leadership experience in a combined cycle plant
- Extensive knowledge of NERC and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations
- Training in Six Sigma or Lean methodology
- Highly organized and adaptable to change with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This is a short-term role, anticipated to last approximately18 months, and is ineligible for layoff benefits.

About Us
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $119,600-$199,400 USD Annually.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
