Job Description Summary
Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. This includes gathering and documenting requirements, building functional and technical specifications and overseeing build/test/deploy milestones to drive project delivery. Partners with functional owner with both project management to define requirements. Works with technical team(s) internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. Ensures project management practices (GEH Software Delivery Lifecycle - SDLC, Project Management Office -PMO) are followed and improved as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities
Work independently, at the same time collaborating with all other roles within the team to ensure project meets organizational standards and customer needs
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying requirements and document business processes
- Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs
- Demonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles to collaborate with Build and Release teams
- Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
- Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge
- Work with technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production
- Cooperate with and manage external vendors tasks as required
- Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
- Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
- Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
- Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
- Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
- Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
- Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected
- Demonstrate awareness of industry trends and domain expertise
- Demonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles to collaborate with Build and Release teams
- Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product
- Demonstrate ability to influence customers and project managers through persuasion and influencing

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with at least 6 years of professional experience

- PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
- Has initiative to stay current on technology trends
- Have a basic knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, Unix, and MS Operating Systems
- Good understanding of Manufacturing, Work In Progress (WIP), Inventory, and Forecasting processes
- Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Development and Deliverables (GE-H CP-23-04)
- Strong experience of Microsoft Office
- Six Sigma Greenbelt certified
- Familiarity with SNM-1097 GE-H Special Nuclear License and Material Control and Accountability (M&A)
- Familiarity with Radiological Data Management Dosimetry tracking (RDMS System, GEDDS/ACS/HIS20) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
