Installation & Commissioning Project Manager
Job Description Summary
Carry out and manage the Installation and Commissioning scope of Oil & Gas customer contracts in an international context. Be the primary point of contact with the client's counterpart. Be responsible for coordinating the various flows of Installation and Commissioning (site resources, parts, technical support, tooling, etc.) to ensure the completion of the site activities to the customer satisfaction, while respecting the contractual framework, and delivering on our safety, quality, on time delivery and financial performance objectives.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
In commercial phase:
- Support the teams in charge of elaborating commercial proposals (scope, schedule and budget) when requested. necessary.
Prior to site activities:
- Ensure compliance with EHS prerequisites before mobilizing resources.
- Clarify all site-related topics with the Client (anticipation, technical clarifications, organization)
- Prepare and lead the project kick-off meeting with the client.
- Create the baseline site schedule in accordance with assembly sequences and project constraints.
- Define the necessary resources (human and material) and estimate the costs for completing the service.
- Inform resource managers of the scheduling and keep them updated on changes.
- Initiate the transport of tools and ensure their tracking until they return to the factory or are transferred from site to site.

During site activities:
- Update the client, project stakeholders and team members on project progress
- Notify the client of any EHS/Cost/Timeline deviations and inform the Project Management Leader.
- Update the site schedules and, in case of deviations, define the necessary action plans to meet milestones, implement them, and monitor their progress.
- Optimize and validate expenditures, identify cost deviations, and perform budget monitoring to ensure project margin.
- Create and manage resource mobilization requests.
- Plan demobilizations at the end of the site and/or in case of major issues.
- Ensure site assistance in resolving complex issues.
- Initiate the transportation of material resupplies.
- Construct and draft claims to clients.
- Ensure the receipt of necessary documents during the site operations according to current procedures and verify their content.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and share feedback.
- Ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Significant experience in project management, particularly in installation and commissioning in the Oil & Gas infrastructure industry
- Excellent leadership abilities, capable of managing and motivating teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to manage relationships and act as the primary point of contact with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management related to projects.
- Skill in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and procedures.
- Ability to ensure compliance with EHS prerequisites.
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites and other locations as required for project execution.
