Job Description Summary

The Aero Alliance Port Klang Facility & Maintenance Leader will be the referral for al the Facility & Maintenance necessities connected to the Aero Alliance site in Port Klang. He/She will ensure compliant relations with all the contractors. He/She will also be responsible for managing the F&M budget.
The person in charge for this role, will also be the first point of contact for any urgent necessities related to business and operations continuity.
This role is intended to be performed on-site, so no remote working allowed for this specific role. While applying, be sure to live close to the site or willing to relocate

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that manufacturing premises are fully operational, maintained, and clean. This is manufacturing specific and does not include gardeners, caterers, etc.
• Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
• Be responsible for maintenance of facilities and equipment and auxiliary services Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur) Aero Alliance plant interacting with external resources/companies
• Interact and collaborate with plant Gates Leaders team to achieve maintenance and facilities goal
• Identify maintenance and facilities projects/initiatives to continuously improve execution and efficiency/productivity of the plant
• Support plant long term strategy for areas allocation, P&E implementation and new technologies introduction in the plant
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and perform planned maintenance of all mechanical aspects of plant, office, machinery and equipment

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations and Facilities Maintenance
• Bachelor's degree in industrial / Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Familiar with Facility & Maintenance activities of complex plant
• Familiar with local regulation and people culture
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate and execute projects on global scale
• Willing to work at Pulau Indah, Selangor
