Description

Ensure development of high-quality software by incorporating and implementing software testing methodologies to test the software. Develop and Define testing strategies including different testing levels, manual and automation to ensure first time quality. Work with controls, software and other cross functional teams as well as other stakeholders during planning and other development stages to define a solid acceptance criteria. Develop test plans to cover all the functional and non-functional requirements for the VMEC supported features. Develop test cases, automate and execute the test plans to identify software anomalies, missed requirements and performance issues. Help Troubleshoot vehicle level integration issues including hardware, software, calibration and vehicle wiring. Be an integral, embedded member of Agile Release Trains. Work closely with the controls and software teams to resolve issues as well as identifying robust solutions. Work closely with the Test Environment development teams to predict the test environment needs and develop requirements. Adopt industry standards such as ISO9000 and CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) to help build the software quality guidelines and implementation strategies. Proactively identify warranty and performance improvement opportunities. Provide technical and process mentoring to new employees. Provide technical leadership for advanced technology development. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote. Must be able to report to listed local office. 5% travel required to client sites nationwide.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study. Two (2) years of experience as an Embedded Test Engineer, or related occupation. Two years of experience in the following: C, C++ programming; Agile development process; automated testing framework; CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communications protocols; Hardware in the Loop Simulation Tools including dSPACE, Matlab and Simulink; Embedded controller tools including ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, CANape, VSpy and CAPL scripting; and Software Design Methods including Design for Six Sigma, Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
