The Product Marketing team is charged with challenging the status quo and developing strategies that drive Envolve OnStar' growth to be a leader in the commercial and government sector. We partner with cross functional teams across the company to develop a coherent software go to market strategy that drives value through the core business and propel GM into future market opportunities.
Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, the Product Marketing Lead Analyst will be responsible for supporting the strategic initiatives of the team and conducting in dept financial, market and industry analysis that allow our BU to accelerate retention and growth. Ideal candidates will have experience with subscription services or marketing products, defining scope and success criteria, understanding optimization strategy, and a proven track record of applying data-based decision making.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Define target customer, market positioning, and key areas of differentiation for products and features within domain.
- Develop and support comprehensive business cases in partnership with Product Management and Finance
- Gather and analyze relevant data to Identify and articulate specific value propositions and market size for new initiatives.
- Build and estimate business models and potential financial and operational impact of proposed initiatives.
- Communicate complex business concepts through compelling storytelling in a structured and succinct manner that conveys an actionable point of view.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Drive behavioral analytics and voice of customer understanding to drive discoverability, awareness, and engagement.
- Continuously assess product-market fit of existing portfolio, trends, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate on research activities to gauge desirability, willingness to pay and insights (customer and market).
- Lead business support for S&S Product Management and Strategic Tech Partnerships on commercial models with partners
- Champion GTM requirements that affect product experience into product roadmaps.
- Apply data and analytics methodologies to set direction and prove/disprove hypotheses in our strategies
- Assess business plans, roadmaps, competitive landscape and provide recommendations for improvements and adjustments.
- Integrate with Global Regions on unique local needs and assist in prioritization for resource allocation.
Skills:
- Ability to aggregate, synthesize and communicate business information in formats that are clear and effective for the desired audiences.
- Ability to create business cases and financial models to support them.
- Ability to translate "data" to a "business story" and effectively derive and communicate any actionable recommendations.
- Skilled in priority setting and alignment of project priorities with business strategy.
- Effectiveness in building trust, respect, and cooperation among cross-functional teams.
- Master in storytelling
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Data & Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline
- 5 or more years of overall experience in business, product marketing, analytics or similar
- 2+ years' experience in creating business and financial models
- 3+ years of product marketing or product management experience.
- 3+ years' experience analyzing market, customer, product or similar research/benchmarking data.
- Experience working with market research and analytics to curate customer insights and market trends.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge ( Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA preferred
- Management consulting experience a plus
- Corporate strategy experience a plus
