Hybrid: For this position it will be necessary to work in person 3x a week

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) :

  • Schedule required product test benches and vehicles needed to support the MSEH development process.
  • Support GAME MSEH deliverables of the Manufacturing Requirements Database.
  • Support PTB Builds at PPO Site and Vehicle Assembly Plant
  • Lead manufacturing software readiness for Integration Builds at Pre-Production Operations, and all in-plant build events. Ensure test application and supporting systems are ready at start of build.
  • Utilize appropriate issues resolution process to identify, track, and resolve engineering concerns identified during vehicle launch build
  • Execute major programs and provide ongoing assembly plant support
  • Assure system verification on all MSEH application and system changes before releasing or installing at the assembly plants.
  • Provide proper authorization to the assembly plants for all parameter, test application changes and support the DTC ignore process.
  • Lead GVDP EOLT events with Product Engineering
  • Support DVT Coordinator in all areas of MSEH business at the vehicle assembly plants
  • Support all launch (PPV, MVB's) events
  • Provide support for ride trip testing at CPCA
  • Validate ongoing PE changes including ECRs, T-ECRs, BPRs, and DTC ignores into GMSA test applications
  • Implement and support ongoing Global MSEH system improvements and deployments
  • Validate and deploy global standard libraries, flash application, test applications and systems (GTS, MVI Comm, CASH) into test GMSA application and the vehicle assembly plant
  • Problem Resolution
  • Lead resolution process to identify, track, and resolve engineering and manufacturing issues
  • Monitor MSEH plant reporting system, quality and warranty data for issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and lead reflash campaigns for GMSA

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor Degree Completed in Engineering (preferable Electrical, Electronics, Control&Automation, Software or Computing)
  • Advanced or Fluent English
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronics
  • Availability for international and national travel when necessary

What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications):

  • Knowledge of C++ programming language
  • Experience as electrical coordinators, DVT coordinators, electrical SMT product engineers (in-house)
  • Experience programming vehicle modules.
