Description

Works on end to end feature execution of dedicated Active Safety features from inception to production. Authors ECRs per PM Team direction. Ensure ECRs breakpoint on-time at GM and SGM plants in coordination with Hardware and Validation team. Oversee software and algorithm execution, including ensuring that all planned changes are implemented and functional. Evaluate and communicate changes with GM Controls Systems Leads (CSLs) and Supplier for impacts to calibrations, development, and validation. Drive all PRTS resolutions. Work with Validation and Performance teams to ensure proper feature and PRTS functionality. Work with Integration and Mobileye team to triage and drive issue resolution. Support development of CG3000s (Delta Design Change Requests) as necessary. Act as or brings in Subject Matter Experts of features to drive quick resolution. Support local teams and global partners. Ensure all aspects of the ECU have been properly exercised & validated. Support global partners as issues arise. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-Office, 2 Days Remote - Must be able to report to local office

Additional Description

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Systems Integration Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Systems Engineer, Automotive Engineer, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with the following: Electronic validation; software and hardware controls; automated driving sensors including Cameras, Lidars, Radars, and Ultrasonic Sensors; manufacturing and vehicle launch; electrical and electronic component design and release; Team Center Systems Engineering and IBM DOORs requirement management tools; designing, developing, and integrating safety critical systems and components; and performing system and component level Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEAs).
