The MCIS Manager and resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support new operator and operator sustainment training curriculums for the facilities Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)/ C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) system(s).  

HOW A MCIS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  •  Responsible for initial instructor and SME training of personnel assigned instructor duties for that specific MCIS/C4ISR system(s). 

  • Works under the direct supervision of the Training Section Lead and assists in all aspects of preparation and execution of MCIS training.

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes individual Mission Command Information System Training.

  • Assists unit leadership in the planning individual training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.

  • Update Programs of Instruction.

  • Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTP's.

  • Provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or scientific discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

  • Required Experience: Minimum of 8 years of military related experience

  • Required Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.

  • Security Clearance Level: Secret

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs.

  • Preferred Skills: Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.

  • Location: Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $70,366 - $95,202. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
