The T901 Product Support Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will develop, integrate, and implement processes that meet business financial and technical needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy and execution. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional and direct report team to complete development and production introduction of new T901 improved turbine engine for the US Army
  • Maintain an integrated product support plan for the T901 program and manage execution of plan through qualification and entry into service
  • Coordinate functional support activities (Support Equipment, Repair Engineering, Technical Publications, Reliability, Maintainability, Human Factors Engineering, Provisioning, Customer Training, and Maintenance Data Systems) to meet customer requirements and satisfy business goals
  • Develop cost / schedule planning estimates in support of internal and external Earned Value Management process
  • Manage product / service development programs from the concept stage through introduction into production
  • Influence the development of strategy for product support, including control of resources and influencing policy formation
  • Develop and implement digital strategy for the T901 engine that maximizes value to customers
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations using multiple sources (internal and external to own functional areas) to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years of experience in product support and/or product development

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
