Role Overview:

The Sr. Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver on all program deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract(s) and business case(s). The role is guided by commercial practices/policies and impacts approaches, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team. High levels of judgement are required due to significant control and influence over commercial priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage all contract performance activities tied to customer(s) and program(s).
• Manage the transfer of information/requests and interface between the customer and internal teams.
• Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions to issues.
• Assume responsibility for contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics specific to contract(s). May also support proposal and negotiations.
• Develop and maintain specialized knowledge of commercial developments within own area, contribute toward strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within programs/projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, and/or customers. Use technical experience and expertise to analyze data in support of recommendations and seek new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Travel up to 25%, domestic and international

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of experience in Program/Project Management)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program/Project Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited university or college
• 8+ years of experience in Program Management roles
• PMP certified
• Experience in the aviation/aerospace industry
• Material Management expertise
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to influence
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
