  • Conception and advanced development of power electronic products
  • Design validation and performance characterization
  • Bring-up, debug and characterization of prototypes

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

  • Advanced education in power electronics
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Hands-on experience with designing, debugging, and testing of motor controllers
  • Python/MATLAB scripting for data analysis and visualization
  • Deep understanding of magnetics, switching circuit topologies, gate drivers, modeling, and simulation in power electronics
  • Great knowledge of AC motor control and modulation techniques for three-phase inverters
  • Experience hands-on in power electronics development for applications up to 1KV and 500A

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Automotive industry background
  • Experience developing power electronics products with SiC and GaN devices
  • Analog, digital and mixed-signal hardware design
  • Digital power electronics control development with high-performance 32-bit microcontrollers
  • Product development experience with CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.
  • Proficiency in C
  • LabView, CANape, CANalyzer for data acquisition
