Are you keen on data analysis and master data management? We are hiring a Data Analyst for our Brno office.
In this role, you will join the Engineering IT team and ensure strong data management and flow within engineering systems. You will also implement MDM practices for essential engineering systems. You will collaborate with Engineering IT Business Partners and Product Owners to understand the developing systems and tools. In this role, you must make sure that the necessary datasets are ready and taken from the data lake. These datasets are for analytics, search, machine learning, or other uses.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply a strategy to deal with engineering data from various sources, including test labs, simulations, and CAD. Work with business stakeholders and Engineering IT partners to guarantee that future tools and processes have consistent data access. This includes pulling data from a data lake and identifying what matters for analytics and machine learning.
- Make sure to implement Master Data Management practices for a strong data flow. Identify one key source for all engineering systems' data, and set up clear ownership and governance. Work with Data Excellence Teams and stay in line with the Garrett Global Data Strategy.
- Collaborate with system integration teams and architects to guarantee special connectivity between systems, which allows for appropriate data access.
- You will play a key role in working together and succeeding with help from our developers, contractors, IT business partners, and business stakeholders.
- You are expected to solve problems with an innovative mindset and leveraging latest and upcoming technologies.
- Use project management methods for your tasks. Ask for help when you need it. Ensure you deliver quality work promptly.

Your Profile:
- Significant experience in the field of data management and extraction and knowledge on SQL, NoSQL and other storage methods
- Robust MDM (Master data management) experience
- Experienced with Cloud based systems and data architecture
- Experience in Power BI, Tableau, etc.
