The Factory Digitization BI Engineer is responsible developing and delivering Factory Digitzation solutions that will give actionable insights to engineers, operators and leaders in Garrett plants. A person in this position should have experience in technologies including big data Analytics, creation of dashboards and Machine Learning. She/he will work in a cross-functional environment with members of manufacturing engineers, manufacturing operations, IIoT Platform and Data Analytics teams.

Applications development
• Analyze business requirements for IT solutions to improve operational effectiveness in Garrett manufacturing.
• Design create Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions that will lead to actionable insights.

• Using Agile Methodology, develop high quality solutions such as dashboards that will improve manufacturing productivity
• Perform Unit, System and Integration testing before launch in to Production.
• Write detailed design and training documentation
Applications maintenance and support
• Lead trouble-shooting of complex Factory Digitization issues.
• Develop and enhance Factory Digitization IT solutions.
• Train users from Garrett plants in using the developed Factory Digitization solutions.
Innovation
• Evaluate solutions in the areas of Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning
• Adopting technology best practices to improve the performance.
• Be on the leading edge of technology through continuous training and improvement
Experience :
- 3-7 years relevant IT and application development and maintenance experience
- Agile development methodology concepts & experience in Scrum Framework.
- Demonstrate excellent technical and communication skills to work in Dynamic environment.
- Six Sigma green belt certification.
Key Skill :
Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud service provider, Big Data Analytics with SAS, Business Intelligence with Power BI
Should have experience in creating machine learning models, Python, MS SQL, MYSQL and Rest API.
Deep knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Practices
