Ventures Endurance, a division of Gannett/USA Today Network, is hiring an Email Marketing Team Lead. The candidate will be responsible for leading the email marketing strategies of approximately 80 live and virtual endurance events, including running and cycling events. At Ventures Endurance, we produce world-class, community-centric events that engage, empower, and celebrate every participant.
The main duties of this role include managing the team of Email Marketing Specialists, managing email databases, and ensuring the correct flow of data from our internal CRM to Salesforce/Marketing Cloud. We're looking for proven experience leading an email team, creating automation, building journeys, and reporting results.

Base Salary Range - $70,000 - $78,000/annually
Responsibilities
-Lead the team of Email Marketing Specialists
• Act as a data and analytics subject matter expert: performing ad-hoc data pulls, advising on campaign strategy, and working closely in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and GA4 to understand performance
• Lead email marketing teams in strategic planning, targeting, and implementation for campaigns
• Build email lists regularly using Salesforce Marketing Cloud's Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Assist in the day-to-day responsibilities of marketing execution, from hands-on operational work to project management, holding teams accountable for hitting goals and KPIs
• Identify new marketing opportunities to continuously improve the Marketing organization's impact and effectiveness
• Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
• Report on revenue generated from email marketing efforts
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of marketing experience
• Previous CRM and data strategy experience required
• Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud required
• Experience in data systems such as GA4
• Marketing analytics experience preferred

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and
$105,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable
