We're hiring an Account Executive to join our Automotive Team at USA TODAY Network, part of the Gannett enterprise. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping the future of retail automotive by delivering end-to-end digital marketing, wholesale, and commerce solutions to top automotive clients.
You'll work alongside a best-in-class sales force-partnering with major accounts and leveraging cutting-edge tools and data to build smart, strategic, and ROI-driven campaigns.
What You'll Do:
- Own and grow a book of major automotive clients, building deep relationships with senior executives at dealerships and rooftops
- Drive product penetration, upsells, and retention, while consistently increasing client satisfaction
- Deliver customized marketing solutions in collaboration with internal teams, always focused on measurable results
- Use Salesforce to track pipeline, manage forecasts, and maintain revenue accountability
- Share meaningful insights and campaign data with clients to showcase value and impact
- Develop strategic account plans to drive long-term partnerships and revenue growth
What You Bring:
- 3-5+ years of sales experience (Digital Advertising required)
- Automotive industry background? That's a huge plus!
- Consultative sales style with the ability to match client needs to marketing solutions
- Ability to overcome objections, think strategically, and drive decision-making
- Strong knowledge of digital platforms, campaign performance, and customer journeys
- Comfortable leading client meetings, handling cold calls, and delivering presentations
- Proficient with Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Highly organized, goal-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A true team player and influencer who builds momentum across teams and stakeholders
