About the Role

Galileo is looking for culturally sensitive, New Mexico based, Registered Nurse who is BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH to work within our population health, digital-first, primary care medical group. In this role, you will provide REMOTE support with patient outreach, education and tracking. As a part of our collaborative clinical care team, you will leverage data, technology, and operational rigor to optimize great patient outcomes while offering highly personalized care and shared decision making with patients.

Here's what you'll do

  • Provide best-in-class, digital care for Galileo patients by completing an initial intake and obtaining the following: vitals, medication doses and frequency, social history and preventative care history.
  • Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients from age 0-100 across all needs assisting with the following: medication refills, facilitating referrals to specialty care when needed, ongoing chronic illness coaching, population management by condition, preventative care, reviewing imaging, labs and faxes
  • Patient phone triage for primary and specialty care needs.
  • Translation of editorial content into Spanish.
  • Work with a diverse patient population. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture that is inclusive of all backgrounds
  • Solve patient problems in an efficient, nimble manner by drawing on resourcefulness, collaborating with team members to leverage their expertise, and a "can-do" approach
  • Additional, ad hoc tasks as dictated by capacity and organization needs.

About You

  • BASED IN NEW MEXICO
  • Have 3+ years of clinical experience in a primary care setting with all age groups
  • Professionally fluent in English/Spanish with formal education in Spanish or equivalent experience - including reading, writing, speaking, and a deep understanding of the cultural nuances for native Spanish speakers in a medical setting.
  • Highly culturally competent with diverse populations
  • Tech savvy and effective communicators with EMR systems
  • Are highly comfortable with using technology and various applications to deliver care to patients virtually. Our current tech stack is:
    • Proprietary built clinician-patient platform
    • Google Suite (gmail, sheets, docs, etc)
    • Slack
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, learns quickly, adaptable to quickly changing environments, works well in teams, detail oriented.
  • Experience with obstetrical/maternity populations.

Compensation Range $46/hr. based upon prior experience, performance, and market dynamics
