As the Digital Merchandiser for Loungefly and DTC Special Projects, you will be responsible for executing eCommerce Merchandising strategies across categories that are consistent with brand and business goals delivering a world-class customer experience. A successful Digital Merchandiser will combine an understanding of digital merchandising and what drives eCommerce sales, as well as a passion for user experience to improve KPI goals. You will build an unparalleled shopping experience across the entire website by collaborating with UX/UI, Marketing, Creative, and Merchant teams to tell key merchandising stories end to end.

The ideal candidate is an innovative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused leader with proven experience driving digital revenue who has great judgment and creative problem-solving skills. This person will have demonstrated skill with technical tools and processes through website management, digital marketing, advanced data analysis or other relevant experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute eCommerce merchandising strategy for Loungefly.com and DTC special project plans that will achieve DTC web revenue and conversion goals.
  • Serve as key point of contact for the execution of DTC special projects such as the Pop! Yourself program, third party product launches, and ad hoc marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct item setup processes and partner with relevant teams to ensure that products are published onto our website accurately
  • Assist eCommerce Manager with homepage content plans identifying key story telling moments based on delivery of product, marketing campaigns, and promotional calendar
  • Identify new category builds and apply SEO best practices for URL structure and metadata.
  • Determine improvements to taxonomy, menu navigation, and the shopping experience by identifying opportunities for AB testing, PLP and PDP optimizations, and category upsells
  • Conduct research and apply corrections by monitoring site search conversion and zero result refinements
  • Analyze weekly and daily site performance to improve business performance and inform merchandising strategies to drive growth.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or business-related field or 3+ years of experience in online merchandising, marketing, or eCommerce for a top-tier direct-to-consumer brand
  • Experience using eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce, Shopify, and Magento
  • Deep knowledge of eCommerce best practices; very strong merchandising “eye”
  • Well-versed in full Microsoft suite, website analytics, and proficient in analyzing data for eCommerce decision making
  • Proven ability to link knowledge of branding and target customers to key eCommerce elements to drive the business
  • Ability to empathize with customers to understand their core needs, gather insights and create solutions that build the business with a customer-centric approach in the short and long term
  • Partners well cross-functionally and develops efficient processes for feedback and collaboration; able to work side-by-side clearly and consistently across functions and departments and synthesize multiple points of view into a coherent action plan
  • Strong creative, critical thinking, and intuitive problem-solving skills
  • Superb communication skills, clear and concise in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Salary Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $67,725 - $72,000 annually. ​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
