The Data Analytics Engineer - Salesforce will design and manage scalable Salesforce data models, assess project impacts on data design, ensure data correctness and accuracy, and implement stream systems to support real-time data flow. This role combines analytical thinking, Salesforce administration expertise, and data engineering skills with a strong understanding of Agile methodology to drive strategic initiatives, maintain high-quality data standards, and maximize the platform's impact across the organization.

- Salesforce Data Model Design: Analyze and maintain scalable Salesforce data models (e.g., custom objects, fields, relationships) that support operational efficiency, business intelligence, and platform performance.
- Salesforce Administration: Leverage Salesforce admin skills (e.g., managing users, permissions, page layouts, flows, validation rules) to support the integrity and usability of the Salesforce platform.
- Project Impact Analysis: Evaluate how new features, projects, or system integrations affect Salesforce data structures, identifying potential risks and opportunities to optimize design and accuracy.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, iterative data solutions.
- Data Correctness & Quality: Implement validation rules, data governance processes, and automated cleansing procedures to ensure reliable, accurate, and complete data.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with BTS, GTM, and development teams to integrate Salesforce with third-party systems, ensuring secure, consistent, and real-time data availability.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and improve data performance through indexing, query optimization, and system tuning without compromising data quality.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Salesforce admins, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data and analytics strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, data flows, architecture decisions, Agile deliverables, and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or Salesforce data management roles.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce administrator or data architect.
- Demonstrated success working in Agile environments, delivering data solutions incrementally.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong Salesforce admin skills, including user/permission management, flows, automation, and security models.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, SOQL, and custom object/field relationships.
- Experience with stream processing tools and real-time event-driven systems.
- Proficiency in SOQL or similar for data validation and transformation.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (highly preferred).
- Salesforce Data Architect or Platform Developer I.
- Agile certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner) is a plus.
