Job Description
o support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to hire Senior System Administrator - IT who is based out of in Chennai location.
The Senior System administrator is the L3 level of support and is responsible for Architect Windows servers to efficiently and effectively support business, financial, and manufacturing execution systems with particular focus on the architecture supporting VMWare/Hyper-V environment, and Cloud system..
Works independently towards providing support for escalated incident/problem management requirements (L3 support).The Engineer will be required to liaise and work with other Global engineering teams, ensuring the highest level of output capable for the Engineering team.
Resolves at least 80% of calls routed to him/her, without having to dispatch to service partners. In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting scripts and knowledge of server topologies/configurations.
Good Knowledge on AD.
Exposure to Azure Cloud technologies and scripting Knowledge (Ansible/Shell)

- Any graduate in computer science or equivalent technical degree.
- Overall 7+ years of experience as System administrator.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills including ability to produce effective technical and user documentations
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Clustering, VMware/Hyper-V, backup/recovery, high availability, monitoring, performance tuning, optimization, and disaster recover
- Strong process development and implementation skills
- Strong administrative skill on Windows Operating system .
- A technology expert with relentless drive to continuously improve system performance, develop strong/repeatable processes, and train/mentor users and IT/IS support staffs
- Knowledge on Active Directory Services - DNS Zones, Replications.
- Hands on experience on monitoring tools
- Understanding of TCP/IP is a must.
- Should have worked in heterogeneous environment ;- Windows and Linux/Unix mixed environment
- Network Operations and Network Security - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Routing.
- System Performance Management - Fine tuning of Windows Operating System
- Should Have Good Exposure RAID (H/W & S/W)
- Exposure to VMWare/Hyper-V or Virtual Server
- Should have Hands on experience on Remote Monitoring both Hardware and Operating Systems
- Azure Cloud migration & IAAS\PAAS services expertise.
