Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Technical Quote Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Material Quotation Manager, the Technical Quote Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing technical quotes by working with Bills of Materials (BOM), commodity assignments, and quotations (ceteos) for various projects. The candidate is expected to have experience across all segments, with a particular focus on electrical and mechanical solutions.

What a typical day looks like:
- Analyze and comprehend customer specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed quotes using Bills of Materials (BOM) and commodity assignments.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure quotes are accurate and delivered on time.
- Use SolidWorks to create 2D and 3D designs and drawings that support the quoting process.
- Accurately perform budget estimates (ceteos) for the quotes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge of Gerber will be considered a plus.
- BA/BS in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Fluent in English.
- Previous experience in similar roles and in electrical and mechanical segments.
- Experience with Bills of Materials (BOM), commodity assignments, and quotations.
- Knowledge SolidWorks and 2D and 3D design tools.
- Knowledge of Gerber is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
