What a typical day looks like:
- Be responsible for the overall mechanical design, analysis, documentation and functional validation of power adapter/PSU products
- Support product pre-research, spec clarification and cost analysis
- Contribute to the development of mechanical tooling and production part qualification.
- Innovative mechanical improvement and VAVE for developed products
- Collaborate with internal and external teams ( i.e. customer, suppliers, cross-function team, manufacturing, quality, etc.) to ensure the successful development and launch of new products
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or above
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in power supply product design
- Strong CAD & pro-E/Creo , UG skill
- Experience resolving tolerance stack-up and interference issues on 3D models.
- Awareness of manufacturing processes including injection molding, metals fabrication and secondary finishing process
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and creative, analytical and detail orientated work ethic.
- Good writing and speaking in English.
